According to experts, China's first large-scale hot-rolling pipe bending machine with a diameter of 1,620 mm has been successfully developed, filling the gap of large-scale pipe bending technology in China. It is the hot-bending pipe equipment with the highest processing capacity and technical content in China.

The project was established in early 2006. Zhongyou Pipeline Machinery Co., Ltd. established a strong research group. After fine processing and simulation experiments, the equipment reached the application conditions.

The 1620mm diameter large hot bending machine can be made of induction heating elbows such as low carbon steel, alloy steel and X80 grade pipeline steel. The maximum processing diameter is 1620 mm and the maximum bending degree is 95 degrees. The whole system adopts computer system control, which can realize real-time monitoring, measurement and recording, and greatly improve the quality of bending pipe.

Experts from the Ministry of Science and Technology of China National Petroleum Corporation believe that the large diameter hot-sand bending machine with a diameter of 1620 mm not only fills the blank of large-scale bending technology in China, but also constructs large-diameter oil and gas pipeline projects such as the Second West-East Gas Pipeline, China-Russia and Central Asia.
