1. Characteristics of fertilizer requirement: Chinese cabbage has a long growth period, high yield, high nutrient demand, and the highest absorption of potassium, followed by nitrogen, calcium, phosphorus and magnesium. The characteristics of total fertilizer requirement are: less nutrient absorption during seedling stage, significantly increased rosette period, and maximum nutrient absorption during the core period. Adequate nitrogen nutrition is particularly important for promoting the formation of hypertrophic green leaves and improving photosynthetic efficiency. If the supply of phosphorus and potassium is insufficient in the later stage, it is often difficult to form a ball.
2. Fertilization technology: The fertilization amount per mu in the whole growth period is 2000-2500 kg (or commercial organic fertilizer 300-350 kg), nitrogen fertilizer 13-16 kg, phosphate fertilizer 5-8 kg, potassium fertilizer 10-12. Kilograms, nitrogen and potassium fertilizers are divided into base fertilizers and secondary topdressing fertilizers. Phosphate fertilizers are all used as base fertilizers, and fertilizers and farmyard manure (or commercial organic fertilizers) are mixedly applied.
Base fertilizer: 2000-2500 kg of farmyard manure or 300-350 kg of commercial organic fertilizer per acre, 4-5 kg ​​of urea, 11-17 kg of diammonium phosphate, 6-7 kg of potassium sulfate, and 20 kg of calcium nitrate.
Topdressing: 10-12 kg of urea in the rose period, 7-9 kg of potassium sulfate; 10-12 kg of urea in the initial stage of the core, 7-9 kg of potassium sulfate.
Top dressing: Spraying 0.3% calcium chloride solution or 0.25%-0.50% calcium nitrate solution during the growth period can reduce the incidence of dry heartburn. Spraying 0.5%-1.0% urea or 0.2% potassium dihydrogen phosphate solution at the beginning of the ball can increase the commercial value of Chinese cabbage.
