Chinese scientists have developed flexible perovskite solar cells

Honeycomb Nano-Stent Preparation and Wearable Solar Power Supply Application

The research team of the Institute of Chemistry of the Chinese Academy of Sciences has successfully developed a honeycomb-like nano-scaffold. The flexible perovskite solar cell thus prepared has excellent bending resistance and can be widely applied to various types of wearable devices.

Flexible wearable electronics is the hot direction for the development of electronic components in the future, and power supply is an important part of it. At present, power supplies have great restrictions on the outdoor use of wearable electronics, large area fit, and safety.

Researcher Song Yanlin of the Key Laboratory of the Green Printing Institute of the Institute of Chemistry, Chinese Academy of Sciences prepared a honeycomb-like nanoscaffold by nano-assembly-printing method, which can be used as a mechanical buffer layer and an optical resonant cavity, thereby greatly improving the photoelectric conversion efficiency of flexible perovskite solar cells and Mechanical stability.
