In the first half of the year, the export of Ningbo power tools exceeded US$100 million

The Ningbo area is one of the important power tool production bases. According to the statistics of Ningbo Inspection and Quarantine Bureau, in the first half of the year, 3,643 batches of export inspections were accepted, a year-on-year decrease of 7.4%; the value of goods was US$ 11.1886 million, an increase of 19.4%, and the first half year exceeded US$ 100 million. Mainly sold to Russia, the European Union, the United States and other places.

The development of the industry presents three major characteristics. First, the industry has become more stable. Compared with the increase of 53.4% ​​and 61.3% in the first half of 2010, the growth rate slowed down this year. It shows that the structure of the industry is becoming more and more reasonable and the development is stable. Second, the added value of products is growing rapidly. In the first half of the year, the single-lot export value was 33,000 US dollars, an increase of 22.2% year-on-year. In the context of the “energy saving and emission reduction” policy, exporting enterprises accelerated product transformation and upgrading, developed high value-added products such as rechargeable electric tools, and promoted export growth. Third, the growth rate of trade in emerging markets was gratifying. Ningbo enterprises have gradually increased their exposure to emerging markets such as Russia and Ukraine on the basis of ensuring markets in developed countries including the European Union and the United States. In the first half of the year, they exported US$14.09 million and US$4.221 million to Russia and Ukraine, accounting for 11.8% of total exports. And 3.9%, showing a significant increase.
