What are the modern laser processing technologies?

1 Laser Quenching Technology: Laser quenching technology uses a focused laser beam to illuminate the surface of the material, causing its temperature to rise rapidly above the phase transition or melting point. When the laser is removed, the material is still at a low temperature because of the rapidity of the inner layer material. The heat-conducting action rapidly cools the heated surface layer to below the martensite transformation point and obtains a hardened layer.
2 Laser Cladding Technology: Laser cladding is a laser process that uses the energy of a laser to fuse a wear-resistant, corrosion-resistant advanced metal or cermet layer on the surface of a material to improve its surface properties.
3 laser welding technology: laser welding is to irradiate high-strength laser beam to the metal surface, through the interaction of laser and metal, the metal is melted to form the welding.

4 Laser cutting technology: Laser cutting is a material processing method that uses a high energy density laser as a cutting tool. Can reduce processing time, reduce costs and improve quality.
5 Laser Marking Technology: Laser marking is the use of high-energy-density lasers to locally irradiate the workpiece, vaporize the surface material or chemically change the color, leaving a permanent mark, that is, the effect of marking is through the surface material. Evaporation exposes deep materials, or causes “chemical” physical changes in surface materials through the action of light energy to “print” traces, revealing the letters, symbols and patterns that need to be etched.
