PetroChina Daqing Oilfield accelerates natural gas exploration and development in Songliao Basin

As of September 15th, PetroChina Daqing Oilfield Company put into production more than 210 natural gas wells, with an annual production capacity of 1.68 billion cubic meters, laying the foundation for the natural gas reserves, production targets and “gasification of the Longjiang River” for the “Twelfth Five-Year Plan” of the Songliao Basin. basis.

In recent years, Daqing Oilfield has continuously increased the exploration and development of natural gas and achieved gratifying results. At present, Daqing Oilfield has formed geological understanding and exploration supporting technologies for volcanic rock, providing theoretical and technical support for the rapid exploration of Qingshen Gas Field.

Entering the “Twelfth Five-Year Plan”, China National Petroleum Corporation deployed the exploration and development of natural gas in the Songliao Basin, and by the end of the “Twelfth Five-Year Plan”, it strived to achieve a production target of 10 billion cubic meters. Daqing Oilfield meticulously planned and determined the working principle of “base on deep gas, accelerate shallow gas, study coalbed gas, tight sandstone gas”, deepen basic geological understanding, analyze the exploration potential in various fields, clarify the exploration level, and clarify the direction of research.

Daqing Oilfield identified the key natural gas exploration targets for the “Twelfth Five-Year Plan” and strived to make new breakthroughs in volcanic rock, conglomerate, shallow gas and tight sandstone gas, and basically implemented the resource base; strengthened key technological breakthroughs to achieve effective utilization of difficult-to-recover reserves. In order to increase the production of single wells and the extent of utilization of reserves as the main line, we will actively carry out bottleneck technological research. At present, Daqing Oilfield is focusing on large-scale volume fracturing such as horizontal fracturing in deep-flood gas reservoirs, and has initially developed horizontal well development technology for volcanic gas reservoirs.

Daqing Oilfield highlighted the design of optimized development plans and ground system design to reduce investment in drilling and ground construction. In particular, in areas such as the Xushen 8 Block and other major capacity building areas, the Group will focus on drilling and ground construction and strive to achieve production by the end of 2012.
