Hongfa Ke said that the peak summer of July to September each year is the second-highest peak of Shanxi's electricity demand after the winter. From the perspective of existing power generation capacity and electricity demand, Shanxi grid power supply can basically meet the electricity demand in the province. , showing a basic equilibrium. According to the Shanxi Provincial Department of Coal, by the end of May, Shanxi Province's internal power generation companies had stored coal for about 16 days, which was higher than the 7-day coal storage cordon. There is no shortage of coal at present.

Shanxi is a major province of heavy industry and an important coal transportation and transmission power province in the country. Last year, Shanxi produced 740 million tons of coal, including 513 million tons of Sinotrans, accounting for 69% of the total. Last year, the province generated more than 210 billion kilowatt-hours of electricity, of which more than 680 billion kwh was exported, accounting for one-third of the total electricity generation.

"Shanxi will take strong measures to ensure the normal supply of coal, the reasonable price stability, and the fulfillment of key coal contracts, while strengthening the power demand side management and power grid management to achieve scientific use of electricity, saving electricity and electricity." From January to May this year, Shanxi produced 330 million tons of coal, an increase of 19% year-on-year, of which 240 million tons were exported, an increase of 11%.

Hongfa Ke said that there is no “electricity shortage” in Shanxi at present, and Shanxi will spare no effort to ensure the transmission of coal and electricity outside the province, accelerate the review and approval of new large-scale generating units, and actively coordinate the approval of all parties for on-grid commissioning and evaluation of key coals.
