3. Test procedure

A, cover assembly separation characteristics determination test steps

1 Fix the cover assembly to the test fixture according to technical requirements, so that the pressure plate is at the working point.

2 Pre-load 100N on the separation finger (rod) end, or according to the technical requirements of the corresponding drawings. This state is defined as a bit.

3 Operate the loading device so that the substitute separation bearing stroke reaches the specified separation stroke, and the action is performed 3 to 5 times.

4 Operate the loading device to disengage the clutch until the maximum separation stroke is reached. The clutch is then engaged and returned to the displacement zero position; during this process, the separation force and the platen displacement at three points evenly distributed along the circumferential direction of the clutch average diameter are measured and recorded.

B, cover assembly load characteristics determination test steps

1 Fix the cover assembly to the test fixture so that the pressure plate is in a free state.

3 Determine the position of the feature point using the specified test pad or other method to determine the corresponding load characteristic value.

C. Determine the separation force and separation force of the cover assembly according to the separation characteristics and load characteristics of the cover assembly according to A and B, and determine the working pressure of the cover assembly, the separation force and the plate lift.

D. The cover assembly and the driven disc assembly are mounted in the test rig, and the driven disc assembly can be replaced by a spacer corresponding to the nominal thickness of the driven disc assembly.

E. Separate and join once according to the specified separation stroke, which is one cycle.

F. Reciprocating cycle to the specified number of cycles or damage to the test piece.

G. Remove the cover assembly from the device and visually inspect for cracks, loose or broken parts.

Cover assembly dynamic separation durability test

1. Test conditions

A. Cover assembly speed: should not be lower than the following specified speed:

1 Mini car and car: 3000r/min

2 Light vehicle: 2000r/min

3 medium car: 1500r/min

4 Heavy vehicles: agreed

B. Separation frequency: no more than 2Hz

C. Separation schedule: as specified in the technical documents.

F, ambient temperature: room temperature or (100 ± 5) ° C.

F. Determine the separation characteristics and load characteristics of the cover assembly, and determine the working pressing force, separation force and platen lift of the test cover assembly.

G. Determine the amount of wear of the separation finger (rod) end.
