The alkaline pesticide is acidic or alkaline according to the pesticide, and the pH is less than 7 is acidic, and more than 7 is alkaline. In the mixed use of pesticides, chemical changes often occur, resulting in reduced or invalid efficacy. Therefore, attention should be paid to the acid-alkaline-sensitive agents to achieve reasonable mixing.
First, commonly used alkaline pesticides
1. Bole Multi-Liquid: It is a sky blue suspension made of copper sulfate, quicklime and water. It is a protective agent.
2. Rosin mixture (pinene mixture): It is a strong alkaline rosin soap made of rosin and caustic soda (sodium hydroxide) or alkaline surface (sodium carbonate). It has a strong contact effect on pests and xenon lamps.
3. Stone sulphur mixture (lime sulphur mixture): It is made by mixing lime, sulfur and water. Strongly alkaline. It has a killing and bactericidal effect.
4. Pentachlorophenol sodium: its aqueous solution is alkaline. It is a contact-killing herbicide.
Second, the case of alkali labile pesticides
1. Organophosphorus preparations: such as dichlorvos, trichlorfon, methamidophos, dimethoate, etc.
2. Organic nitrogen pesticides: Some organic nitrogen pesticides are unstable, such as carbofuran and spider mites.
3. Pyrethroid insecticides: such as enemy killing, pyrethroids, etc.
4. Acaricide: such as dicofol.
5. Fungicides: Some fungicides are unstable in alkali, such as: rice bran, tobuzin, dikesong and so on.
At present, pesticides commonly used to control crop pests and diseases are generally not mixed with alkaline pesticides, but they can basically be mixed.
