China's home e-commerce is expected to break through 205 billion

The China E-Commerce Research Center recently released household e-commerce consumption statistics. The results show that the scale of China's household e-commerce is expected to exceed 205 billion yuan this year.



Data analysis, in 2013, China's home furnishing industry online sales scale of 70 billion yuan, accounting for 3.9% of the offline sales market. In 2014, the scale of domestic household e-commerce transactions reached 119.7 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of about 50%. In 2015, this scale is expected to reach 205 billion yuan, equivalent to three times that of 2013.

According to the report, Chinese consumers spend an average of more than six hours a week on online shopping, three hours more than the global average, and the mobile payment penetration rate is much higher than the international average. At the same time, the online e-commerce shopping rate reached 17.5%, which became one of the areas where e-commerce scale grew rapidly after apparel and 3C digital.
