1. Rotate the rotor of the motor. If it runs freely and there is no noise or friction, the bearing and air gap are normal.
2. Measure the phase-to-phase insulation resistance of the three-phase winding and the insulation resistance to the ground (to the casing) with a 500V insulation shaker.
1 Long-term storage of the motor insulation resistance of 0.5 megaohms or more is good, can be used.
20.1 megohms or less and less than 0.5 megohms indicate that the motor has been wetted and can be used after drying.
3 The insulation resistance is very low, indicating that the insulation has been damaged.
3. Use a multimeter to measure the DC resistance of the three-phase winding of the motor. The closer the result of the three measurements is, the better the winding resistance is within 2%. When the difference is more than 10%, a short-circuit may occur in one phase with small resistance. The specific operation method is as follows:
1 three-phase resistance
Use the low gear of ohm gear: the resistance value of the three-phase winding, the resistance of the three-phase winding is required to be roughly balanced (accurate data can be obtained by digital meter measurement, the motor capacity is different, and the general requirement is not more than 2%).
2 pairs of ground resistance
The high-grade position of the ohmic file: the insulation resistance between the motor winding (three-phase) and the outer casing is generally required to reach 2M or more. The use in the environment of humidity, acid and alkali can be reduced as appropriate, generally not lower than 0.5M.
3 phase resistance
The high-grade position of the ohmic file: the insulation resistance between the windings of different phases is generally required to reach 2M or more. The use in the environment of humidity, acid and alkali can be reduced as appropriate, generally not lower than 0.5M.
