At the same time, domestic ethylene companies are also working hard to reduce energy consumption. Ethylene enterprises such as Yanshan, Qilu, and Maoming have continuously reduced the energy consumption of ethylene by optimizing process operations, increasing the thermal efficiency of cracking furnaces, recovering flare gas, and other measures. The newly put into operation in Wuhan, a total of 11 sets of production equipment and system supporting projects, capacity of only 995 people, labor productivity has reached the advanced level of the domestic ethylene industry.

Domestic large-scale ethylene companies have all equipped with polyethylene devices in the first edition, and domestic companies have spared no effort in developing new products. Taking Yangzi Petrochemical as an example, the comprehensive performance of the chlorinated polyethylene series special materials developed by the company has reached the international advanced level of similar products, and it has created the first domestic production capacity, the first sales volume and the second largest global miracle. It has accumulated for 4 consecutive years. Sales reached 180,000 tons. As an excellent impact modifier for PVC plastics and a synthetic rubber product with good overall performance, the chlorinated polyethylene special material has an extremely wide range of applications. The price per ton product is nearly 1000 yuan higher than that of ordinary polyethylene products, and it is in the market. There is a strong advantage in competition.

Tianjin Petrochemical Company adheres to the principle of “production generation, R&D generation, and reserve generation”, and actively researches and develops “small products” with a high added value for children. It has completed the research, development, production and promotion of more than 20 new products, and many products. Fill the blank of domestic enterprises' production. Since the beginning of this year, with the improvement of the ethylene market, the current domestic ethylene plant operating rate has also increased significantly. The domestic ethylene plant is basically operating at full capacity.
