The effective configuration of Bordeaux mixture is copper sulfate, quicklime and water! Therefore, it is prepared according to the ratio of "1 part of copper sulfate, 0.5-5 parts of quicklime and 160-240 parts of water". The quantity refers to the ratio of the amount of quicklime to the amount of copper sulfate: half-quantity, equal-quantity and multi-quantity, and the amount is related to the sensitivity of the tree species to lime. (Generally, the apple is used in multiple or multi-volume type, and the grape is generally used. Half quantity); multiple means the ratio of water to copper sulfate: 160 times, 200 times and 240 times.
In the process of the Bordeaux mixture, you can dissolve the copper sulfate by half the water consumption and dissolve the quicklime in the other half. After it is completely dissolved, slowly pour the two into the spare container at the same time and stir continuously; 10% to 20 can also be used. % water-soluble quicklime, 80%-90% water-soluble copper sulfate, after it is fully dissolved, the copper sulfate solution is slowly poured into the lime milk, and the two liquids are evenly mixed while stirring, and the method is formulated into The Bordeaux mixture has good quality, strong colloidal properties and is not easy to precipitate. If it is in a large orchard, it is generally necessary to build a dispensing tank. The dispensing pool consists of a large pool and two small pools. The two small pools should be placed above the large pool, and the bottom should have a water outlet connected to the large pool. When dispensing, plug the water outlets of the two small pools, dilute the copper sulfate with a small pool, and dilute the lime with another small pool, respectively, into the water to be exchanged 1/2 (both copper sulfate and lime need to be opened with a small amount of water, And filter the lime residue). Then, unplug the plug hole, and the two small pools are flushed into the large pool and stirred evenly. If the amount of preparation is small, a large tank, two porcelain basins or barrels can be used. First use two small containers to open copper sulfate and lime. Configuring the potion is a matter of carefulness, so here's a small series to tell you a few things to note:
First, the quicklime used for preparation must be of good quality and cannot be weathered lime. The bulk lime can be stored in a large or plastic bag for storage. If there is no lump lime, it is also possible to filter the lime for construction in the travertine pool, but the surface layer should be removed and the amount should be doubled.
Second, the copper sulfate dissolves slowly in cold water. In order to improve the working efficiency, the copper sulfate can be completely dissolved with a small amount of hot water, and then the water is added according to the dosage.
