d. Before welding, in order to prevent the welding slag from damaging the joint thread, the threaded part is wrapped with thick aluminum foil provided by the factory. Or Screw a protective nut and weld evenly to prevent deformation of the welded parts and complete the welding.
Step 4: Insert the installation type BA flowmeter a. After the mounting connector is completely cooled, install the connector.
b. Install the first seal ring (package) between the seal compression ring and the pre-welded lock ring; be careful not to damage the seal ring.
c. Press the sealing ring into the interior of the connector to the pre-welded locking ring. Repeat the above steps to load the remaining two seal rings and adjust the position of the seal ring openings so that the position of each opening is staggered to 180 degrees.
d. Adjust the direction of the flow meter, and point the arrow mark on the head of the flow meter to the fluid direction of the pipeline. Tighten the Pak-Lok compression nut and the connecting body by hand, and tighten it by hand.
e. Lock the nut with a wrench and evenly lock the nut. The degree of tightening of the nut can avoid leakage. Do not over-tighten the compression nut, as this will damage the mounting components.
