The salmon is one of China's rare and valuable fish and one of the specialty fishes in Heilongjiang. In Heilongjiang Province, as early as the 1950s, artificial reproduction of salmon was successfully carried out, and in the 1990s, the State Science and Technology Progress Award was awarded for the artificial proliferation and release of Suifenhe River. At present, the research group headed by the researcher Liu Wei has carried out a large number of laboratory scientific experiments on the basis of the population protection and ecological physiology of salmon, and studied the survival and growth of salmon in freshwater and artificial seawater environments. The silvery juvenile and 2-year-old salmon were transplanted into brackish water and seawater farms in Liaoning, Tianjin and other regions. In 2010, the 4th-instar test fish developed gonads in the sea water up to three stages, and the research results have been accepted by experts.
The Eastern China Ocean Technology Co., Ltd. Development Zone Breeding Base covers an area of ​​164 mu. It has rich and unique underground low temperature constant (13 °C ~ 15 °C per year) deep well water resources and convenient facilities for transportation, electricity, communications and aquaculture infrastructure. Heilongjiang Institute and Oriental Ocean Technology Co., Ltd. have reached a technical cooperation agreement through consultation to jointly develop seawater aquaculture technology for salmon. In June 2014, Oriental Marine Technology Co., Ltd. introduced 2,000 domesticated salinized salmon species from Heilongjiang. After half a year of experimental aquaculture, the salmon was in good condition during the factory farming process. The daily food intake using Atlantic salmon diet was about 2% to 2.5% of body weight, and the disease resistance was strong and the mortality rate was extremely low. At present, all weights reach 120 grams.
The two sides will plan to move into the eye-breeding hatchery and seed factory cultivation techniques, and continue to explore a new development path for the conservation, development and utilization of China's salmon germplasm resources as the salmon are moved into marine aquaculture.
