The benefits of using a fluid coupling for a belt conveyor are:
1. Improve startup characteristics. The belt conveyor requires a large starting torque to overcome the static torque of the system and obtain the acceleration of the system. When the belt conveyor starts, the pulling force is large, often exceeding the allowable belt tension. For this reason, I hope to accelerate slowly at startup and reduce the pulling force. The hydraulic coupling can be used to slowly increase the speed by filling the working chamber with a delay.
2. The belt conveyor is started at full load and can use the starting torque of the motor.
3. The overload protection is reliable. When the belt conveyor fails to operate due to excessive loading or material jamming, the hydraulic coupling slips. Although the motor is running normally, the belt conveyor has stopped working, and the hydraulic coupling has increased the slip rate. When the hydraulic oil temperature rises, the fusible plug will melt and the hydraulic coupling and the motor will idle forever. . Now, in order to prevent a fire accident from the discharge of hydraulic oil, the fire retardant hydraulic oil is used in the well.
4. Save energy. After using the hydraulic coupling, the installation power of the optional motor is close to the power required by the belt conveyor. It is not necessary to use a motor with a 50% increase in installation power as in the case of a conventional hydraulic coupling.
5. The power of each of the intermediate friction type and multi-drive belt conveyor can be balanced by the oil quantity of the hydraulic coupling. The output power of each motor can be dynamically adjusted using a variable speed hydraulic coupling.
6. The intermediate friction belt conveyor is a multi-point driving mode. Each motor must be equipped with a hydraulic coupling in sequence, otherwise the motor will be burnt.
7. Use the speed governing hydraulic coupling to achieve stepless speed regulation to reduce vibration.
