The temperature of the barrel is 175 ~ 195 °C ;
◇ mold temperature is 45 ~ 75 °C ;
â—‡ Injection pressure is set within the range of 69 ~ 118MPa ;
The molding cycle can take 20 to 30 seconds .
Process characteristics of POM :
※ POM can be used without drying before it is processed. It is best to preheat it during processing ( about 100 °C ), which is good for the stability of product size.
※ The processing temperature range of POM is very narrow. Between 195 and 215 °C , the residence time in the barrel is slightly longer or the temperature exceeds 220 °C . The Screw speed should not be too high and the residual amount should be small.
※ POM products shrink large and are prone to shrinkage or deformation.
※ POM is hotter than the heat, and the mold temperature is high ( 80 to 100 °C ). After the product is released from the mold, it is very hot. It is necessary to prevent burns on the fingers.
※ POM should be formed under medium pressure, medium speed and high mold temperature conditions.
Post-processing of POM can be carried out by welding, bonding, spraying, coating, printing, electroplating, machining, and the like.
