Our factory encountered the problem of clamping when processing the saddle joint surface of the new product CA6250B saddle lathe 2m bed. Due to the equipment conditions of our factory, the processing of the saddle joint surface is only arranged on the BQ1012A gantry planer. The bed is shown in Figure 1. The bed weighs 1080kg and has a total length of 3.34m. The saddle joint surface is 0.69~1m away from the bed, that is, the surface to be machined is at the end of the bed. The minimum distance from the bottom of the bed to the support surface of the middle leg is 1.09m. , more than 1m width of the planer table. This heavy and long bed is extremely difficult to balance across the workbench and is difficult to clamp. To this end, I designed a special fixture for large-plate positioning support to solve the problem of machining clamping.
