In June 2005, Chinalco Southwest Aluminum Strip Co., Ltd. built China's first world-advanced aluminum and aluminum alloy hot rolling production line. The main equipment was imported from abroad. After years of process development and technological innovation by Southwest Aluminum and Central South University. The appraisal committee consists of the academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, Zuo Tiezhen, the vice president of the China Nonferrous Metals Industry Association, Niu Yinjian, and experts from Tsinghua University, Beijing University of Science and Technology, Beijing Nonferrous Metals Research Institute, and Northeast Light Alloy Co., Ltd. At the appraisal meeting, after listening to the report of the members of the project team of Southwest Aluminum's "Aluminum and Aluminum Alloy Modern Hot Rolling Technology and Process Development", the expert group integrated the innovation, reached the standard, and the society through inquiry and discussion. Scientific evaluation was carried out in terms of benefits and economic benefits.
