First Remote Thermal Imaging Network Camera

Global network video leader Axis Communications today introduced a new type of thermal imaging network camera with remote temperature detection: the AXIS Q29 series of thermal imaging network camera series. The thermal imaging camera series has two lenses for users to choose from, with a resolution of 336x256, allowing customers to perform critical or remote temperature detection on critical equipment.

The AXIS Q2901-E and AXIS Q2901-E PT Mount thermal imaging network cameras allow users to set up multiple detection zones. When the temperature of the target device exceeds or falls below a preset threshold, the camera alerts. The thermal imaging network camera is equipped with isothermal pallets and spot temperature display function, users can easily and quickly find out where the problem is, so as to help users find and solve the fault in a timely manner.

The AXIS Q29 series supports single cable installation and Power over Ethernet (IEEE802.3af), which is easy to install and integrates easily with existing security equipment. The AXIS Q2901-E PT Mount camera supports RS485/RS422 serial ports. By integrating with the PT PTZ, AXIS Q29 can cover a larger detection area.

AXIS Q2901-E cameras can be wall-mounted or mounted with wall brackets. When it is being lifted, the camera supports the corridor mode, which makes it easy to detect narrow monitoring areas such as the server room or material stack and between antennas. AXIS Q29 series can be set to temperature alarm function, mainly used for remote temperature detection; can also be used for protective detection of the surrounding environment. AXIS Q29 series can adapt to the harsh climate environment, it has a protective shell against impact by vandalism.
