Due to technical limitations, in the past, for a long period of time, the demand for aluminum strips and industrial aluminum profiles in Fujian, Zhejiang, and Jiangxi had a large dependence on external supply. After the Quanzhou Taiwanese Investment Zone and Beijing Lianqiang Aluminum Co., Ltd. signed a contract for high-precision aluminum strip and aluminum processing projects, this status will soon change.

According to the agreement, the project will be located in the Quanzhou Taiwanese Investment Zone Intelligent Transportation Industrial Park with a total investment of 1.2 billion yuan and a total land area of ​​approximately 590 acres. The project is divided into two phases. The first phase will invest 660 million yuan to build a 60,000-ton/year aluminum alloy high-precision strip production line; the second phase will invest 540 million yuan to build a 50,000-ton/year aluminium alloy industrial profile production line and most of the production lines. . After the first phase of production, the estimated annual production value will be 1.5 billion yuan. After the total production is completed, the annual production value is expected to reach 2.5 billion yuan.

In addition, aluminum materials for transportation and rail use in Fujian Province have not yet started, and the entry of the project will change this pattern. As a new type of aluminum material and new structure for rail transportation, it has the advantages of energy saving, environmental protection, and lightweight, and is an integral part of green intelligent transportation.

As one of the projects of the Intelligent Transportation Industrial Park, the 50,000-ton/a-year aluminum alloy industrial profile production line that will be built in Phase II will be tailor-made rail vehicle profiles for companies such as CNR (strait rail passenger cars) to help green intelligent transportation.
