On the other hand, it is trade protection. “Most of our products are sold abroad, and trade protection has stuck the export of domestic photovoltaic companies. Therefore, the apparent phenomenon is overcapacity.” Li Meicheng said that in fact, under the global economic downturn, there are still many technology-based companies operating well. Such as Japan's Sanyo's HIT battery, has been the leader, no substitute. "Because only this company in the world can do such a product, people have original intellectual property rights, and no one can compete with him." Li Meicheng said that the crystal silicon products we fight internationally are similar to each other and lack of replacement. " Blocking a road blocks all.” Therefore, from the perspective of scientific research, we must strengthen technology research and development.

Regarding the way out for current photovoltaic companies, Li Meicheng stated that under the strong support of policies, the first is to strengthen distributed applications, and secondly, the combination of photovoltaic technology and other traditional technologies.

"Mature industrial chain can reduce risk"

“The winter of photovoltaic industry is exactly the spring of technology research and development.” Li Meicheng told reporters that in the case of sluggish business operations, many companies’ technical backbones have now flowed to R&D institutions including universities.

Li Meicheng suggested that when talents are diverted, if they have strength, they can also use the opportunity to reserve technical talents and provide technical support. When there is no better market, they can concentrate on their research. "In 2008 and 2009, everyone was busy making money. It is time to upgrade the technology." In addition, Li Meicheng also stated that the completeness of the industry chain directly affects the development of the industry. “In the past, it was over-investment, and it could not be said that there was excess capacity. In this case, some technical updates were not well digested. Many industries did not keep up and the industry chain was disconnected.
