On February 28, 2011, China appealed the anti-dumping measures taken by the United States to China's warm water shrimp to the WTO dispute settlement mechanism. On July 22 of the same year, it submitted a supplementary consultation request to request the US anti-dumping measures against diamond saw blades. The zeroing practice was also included in the dispute. On October 13, 2011, China invited the establishment of the WTO expert group to hear the case. The expert group was established on October 25. On June 8, 2012, the WTO distributed a report of the expert group to its members.
