The Vosges Group Co., Ltd. announced its annual report recently. The company's operating income in 2011 was approximately 4.61 billion yuan, and its net profit was 138 million yuan. Revenue increased by 8.51% over the same period of last year.

Vosges PV rooftop power station was incorporated into the National Golden Sun demonstration project. The photovoltaic roof power station project of the Vosges Group is constructed by utilizing the existing production workshop roof of the cotton mill. The components used are all copper indium selenide thin-film solar cell modules produced by Vosges Solar. The total installed power is 3MW, and the power generated is direct. Used for the production and operation of electricity in cotton mills. The grid-connected work for the first phase of the 300 kW rooftop solar power plant has been completed and the trial power generation phase has been completed. The Golden Sun demonstration project is jointly implemented by the Ministry of Finance of China, the Ministry of Science and Technology, and the National Energy Administration. It is a demonstration of China’s promotion of technological progress and large-scale development of the photovoltaic power generation industry, the cultivation of strategic emerging industries, and the demonstration and application of photovoltaic power generation technologies in various fields. Specific actions for the industrialization of key technologies are planned to be completed in 2 to 3 years. The projects included in the Golden Sun demonstration project will, in principle, be subsidized by 50% of the total investment in the photovoltaic power generation system and its associated transmission and distribution projects. The independent photovoltaic power generation system in remote and non-electrical areas will be subsidized at 70% of the total investment.
