I have 6 years of experience in the use of CAD. The industry I have done before is hardware processing. I have seen many foreign drawings and some experiences. I am very happy to share with you how to clearly express some basic CAD drawings. I hope that I can help everyone. If there is something wrong, please ask me. I would like to express my gratitude.
CAD is profound and profound, and I don't dare to say that I am proficient in CAD. After all, I only know a part of it. I hope that I can find a CAD master to learn from each other.
Here are a few points. I think if you can do this, no matter whether the cad drawing is very professional or not, at least it seems to be simple and easy to understand. Now let's share it with you:
1. The layers should be classified:
When setting the layer, you should set the color, line type, and line width by the way. If necessary, set whether to print the item. In many drawings I have seen, many people put all the objects in 0. Inside the layer, such drawings are really easy if you want to select some of them. Some people draw the line width, color, and line type are all default, and the whole is a kind of white, one The line type can't distinguish the center line, the solid line and the hidden line. In the end, it is very confusing no matter how you look at it.
I recommend dividing the layers when drawing, I like to divide the layers with English names, as follows:
The Solid layer is used to place the solid line, the line type uses the default Continuous, the color is white, and the line width is 0.25mm;
The Center layer is used to place the center line, the line type is center, the color is red, and the line width is 0.15mm;
The Hidden layer is used to place hidden lines, the line type is Hidden, and the color can be used as 0.15mm in light gray line width of 253;
The Screw layer is used to place the thread, the line type is Hidden, the color is 33 brown, and the line width is 0.13mm;
The Hatch layer is used to fill the line, the line type can be Continuous, the color is 66 dark green, and the line width is 0.09mm;
If you need to add other layers, line type, color, line width should not be set to be different from the above, in order to better view the cad drawing. This makes it easier to manage the drawings, and it is much simpler to modify.
2. Filled questions:
I believe that many friends who are doing external processing know that many foreign image fills are very ugly, because most of the selected fill colors are very dazzling magenta or red or blue, and have not been started yet. Those filling patterns look at the eyes, and the cad drawings after printing out also look unsightly. Most of their line widths are used by Default, and the cad drawings will look a bit unrecognizable.
I recommend that the cross-sectional fill pattern of the drawing be ANSI36, which is a dotted line type with a line width of 0.09mm, so that the printed pattern is not too subjective and looks refreshing.
If there are parts of different materials on the same drawing, you can fill them with other patterns, but they can't be the same as the existing ones. So you can see that the materials are different.
3. Labeling questions:
Have you ever seen some of the cad drawings marked with a mark of 100 and the actual length is only 79.91? The map did not draw according to the scale of the drawing at all, and some of them were changed for the sake of the moment. I feel very sad about these drawings. Most people like to use the ed command to manually modify the size value when drawing. There are also some drawings that are inexplicable. Their annotations are decomposed, and all of them become one-to-one lines. To edit those diagrams, it takes a lot of effort to delete one line and then re-label.
I don't think any picture should be used to manually modify the size value. ed can only be used to add some annotations to the annotation, such as adding a diameter symbol φ to the diameter label of 60 on the section. Using ed to manually modify the size value is a nuisance, and often there will be a situation where the proportion is not coordinated, or a hole or even out of the part. We should draw all the pictures in a ratio of 1:1, and it is easy to label them. The labels can be set with multiple styles, as follows:
Do not use white color in the dimension line (to distinguish it from the color of the solid layer);
The line width of the dimension line is 0.13mm (so that the dimension line will not be regarded as a solid line on the printed drawing);
The baseline spacing and starting point offset is 1 mm;
The center mark is used without, the center mark of CAD itself is not easy to grasp, and the management is troublesome. It is recommended to use the center line of Yanxiu toolbox to easily get it, and it looks good;
The text style can specify a font that can display the diameter symbol φ normally;
The text color is green;
The height of the text is 2.5 (2.5 for A4 is very sufficient);
The dimension of the dimension is set according to the proportion of the drawing. If it is a drawing of 1:2, it can be set to use the global scale of 0.5;
The accuracy of the main unit is accurate to 2 decimal places, and the precision drawings may have 3 decimal places;
Decimal separators use solid dots instead of commas;
It is best not to change the scale factor in the measurement unit.
4. Print
When I print, I like to set it up first, then click the application below to the layout, so the print settings are saved. I don't need to use the print settings under the menu. After setting it, no matter how long you have to print again, you don't have to re-print it. Set up printing.
If the drawing wants to print only black and white, select monochrome.ctb in the print style list. If your printer is good, if you want to make color, change this item to none.
It is generally not recommended to color, because some printers will be very dark when they are colored. If the drawings still need to be copied, the green and yellow lines may disappear!
The above is a summary of the most common problems that some people I have seen when drawing cad drawings. We can save the files that have passed these settings as a template, so that we can directly call them out when we need them next time. The specific method is: File → Save As → Save the type and select “Graphic Template (dwt)†→ Then save it. ! When you create a new file, open the template just now, and everything is all set up.
Next, I will introduce some tips for using the drawing method of Zhongwang CAD. I will post it on the Zhongwang CAD Forum. Please pay attention and hope to get everyone's support! Thank you!
