The discovery of six magnetite bodies in the iron ore mineralization area in the central-western Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region

Recently, the results report of the “Aeromagnetic Anomaly Verification of the Iron ore Mineralization Area in the Central and Western Inner Mongolia Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region” undertaken by the Geological Survey Institute of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region carried out a review and acceptance. The project identified six ore bodies in the iron ore metallurgy area in the central-western Inner Mongolia.

It is understood that the “Inspection of Aeromagnetic Anomalies in the Iron ore Mineralization Area in the Central and Western Inner Mongolia Region” project has selected the important magnetic and magnetic anomaly areas and ore prospecting areas in the two iron ore prospecting areas in the Selengshan and Wulashan mountains in the central and western parts of Inner Mongolia. The geological background, depositary horizons, and prospecting marks of the depositional and metamorphic iron ore deposits in the region were verified by a 1:10,000 high-precision magnetic survey and a large-scale geological survey and drilling program, and six magnetite bodies were circled and preliminary estimates were made. The magnetite ore resources (3341) was 2,248,800 tons, and the analogous prediction of magnetite ore resources in Xinanzhen Aeromagnetic Anomaly II Region (3342) was 50 million tons or more, and good geological prospecting results were obtained.
