Our company has many large plastic crushers. For a long time, the problem of threaded hole damage of the crusher body tool has been plaguing us. The crusher will be subjected to a large impact during the production process. In order to ensure that the position of the tool does not change, the tightening torque of the fixed tool bolt is as high as 600 Nm, and the tool is replaced every day, thus causing the threaded hole of the tool mounted on the body to be easily damaged. Due to structural constraints, bolts and nuts cannot be used. In the past, after the threaded hole was damaged, we solved it by adding a threaded hole, screwing it into the stud and tightening it with a nut. However, there are many problems with this method. First, the required studs are not standard parts and can only be processed by themselves. The processed studs have lower precision and lower strength, and the matching nuts are 10 high-strength nuts. Therefore, the studs have a short service life and often need to be replaced. After multiple replacements, the threaded holes of the body will be caused. Secondly, the crusher is filled with water to crush, and the studs that are screwed in often rust on the body. When the damaged studs are taken out, some of the studs are often broken in the screw holes, which is difficult to remove and cause damage to the screw holes. . Now, we have modified the threaded hole of the machine with a wire thread sleeve to basically solve these problems.
Method
The Wire Thread Insert is a new type of threaded coupling element made of high-strength, high-precision corrosion-resistant diamond-shaped wire. It is a flexible, highly concentric double threaded sleeve with one internal thread and the other external. There is a straight portion at the end of the sleeve as the mounting handle. The corner of the mounting handle is pressed with a dent which can be broken and the mounting handle can fall out of the hole. The structure is as shown in the drawing.
