The stamping elbow does not cause corrosion, pitting, rust or wear. In the pipeline system, the stamping elbow is a tube that changes the direction of the pipeline. According to the angle, there are three most commonly used, 45° and 90°180°. In addition, according to the engineering needs, other abnormal angle elbows such as 60° are included. The materials of the elbow are cast iron, stainless steel, alloy steel, calcinable cast iron, carbon steel, non-ferrous metals and plastics. The way to connect with the pipe is: direct welding (the most common way) flange joints, threaded joints and socket joints.
Stamping elbows are widely used and popularized in different fields and industries, and have been applied and popularized to varying degrees. It uses a stamping die of the same material as the pipe material to be punched into a half-ring elbow, and then two half-ring elbows are assembled into a pair. The welding of the stamping elbow needs to be produced and processed according to a certain process. Generally, the higher the carbon content in the punching elbow, the higher the hardness and the higher the strength, but the lower the plasticity. Mainly refers to the mechanical properties depend on the carbon content of the steel, and generally does not add a large amount of alloying elements of steel, sometimes referred to as carbon steel or carbon steel.
The punching elbow is the power of the conventional or special stamping equipment, so that the sheet material is directly deformed and deformed in the mold, thereby obtaining the production technology of the product parts with certain shape, size and function. The sheet, the mold and the equipment are Three elements of stamping processing. Stamping processing is a metal cold deformation processing method. Therefore, it is called cold stamping or sheet metal stamping, referred to as stamping. It is one of the main methods of metal plastic processing, and is also a part of material forming engineering. technology.
First, the classification of stamping elbow:
1, according to the material is divided into: carbon steel stamping elbow, stainless steel stamping elbow, alloy steel stamping elbow;
2, according to the standard is divided into: national standard stamping elbow, non-standard, international standards: German standard, Japanese standard, American standard, British standard stamping elbow.
Second, the performance characteristics of the stamping elbow
1. Firmly mounted, heat resistant and corrosion resistant
The ceramic piece is attached to the inner wall of the bent pipe by a high-temperature inorganic adhesive. The adhesive is jointly developed by our company and the State Key Laboratory of Fine Ceramics of Tsinghua University. It has strong adhesion, high temperature resistance and aging resistance, and can never be detached. The boilers in Dongfang Hitachi and other boiler manufacturers use this ceramic. glue. The mounting process is simple and the reliability is excellent. Ceramics are inorganic materials that do not undergo oxidative corrosion and acid and alkali corrosion.
2. Excellent wear resistance, continuous use for more than 10 years
According to the Institute of Powder Metallurgy of Central South University of Technology, the wear resistance of special ceramics is equivalent to 266 times that of manganese steel and 171.5 times that of high chromium cast iron, and the wear resistance is excellent. The application of wear-resistant elbows in the milling system greatly reduces the wear and tear of the equipment. According to more than ten years of on-site operation experience, the durability time is at least 10 years, reducing the frequency and cost of maintenance.
3. Lining ceramics have high strength, high hardness and light weight
According to the Shanghai Institute of Ceramics of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, the hardness of the corundum ceramics produced by our company is HRA80-85, and the hardness is much higher than that of wear-resistant steel and stainless steel. The density is only half of that of steel. The weight of ceramic bending pipe is only 1/3 of that of wear-resistant steel elbow, which is easy to install and replace.
Third, the precautions for making stamping elbows:
1. The electrode should be kept dry when used. The titanium calcium type should be dried at 150 °C for 1 hour, and the low hydrogen type should be dried at 200-250 °C for 1 hour (do not repeat the drying repeatedly, otherwise the coating is easy to crack and peel off), to prevent the electrode The viscous oil and other dirt are not allowed to cause the weld to increase the carbon content and affect the quality of the weldment.
2. When welding, it is repeatedly heated to precipitate carbides, which reduces corrosion resistance and mechanical properties.
In order to prevent the corrosion between the eyes due to heating, the welding current should not be too large, about 20% less than the carbon steel electrode, the arc should not be too long, the layer is fast cold, and the narrow bead is suitable.
After welding, the hardenability is large and cracks are likely to occur. If welding with the same type of welding rod is used, preheating at 300 °C or above and slow cooling at around 700 °C after welding must be performed. If the weldment cannot be post-weld heat treated, a chrome-nickel stainless steel electrode should be used.
3. In order to improve the corrosion resistance and weldability of stainless steel stamping elbows, appropriate amount of stability elements such as Ti, Nb, Mo, etc. are added, and the weldability is better. When using the same type of chromium stainless steel welding rod, the pre-preparation of 200 °C or more should be carried out. Heat and tempering at around 800 °C after welding. If the weldment cannot be heat treated, a chrome-nickel stainless steel electrode should be used.
The coating has a titanium calcium type and a low hydrogen type. Titanium-calcium type can be used for AC and DC, but the AC welding is shallower and easier to redden, so DC power is used as much as possible.
4. Stainless steel stamping elbow has certain corrosion resistance (oxidizing acid, organic acid, cavitation), heat resistance and wear resistance. Usually used in power plant, chemical, petroleum and other equipment materials. Stainless steel stamping elbows have poor weldability, and attention should be paid to the welding process, heat treatment conditions and selection of suitable welding electrodes.
Fourth, the advantages of the stamping elbow production process:
1. Stamping elbows are suitable for pipeline systems in the petroleum, natural gas, chemical, hydropower, construction and boiler industries.
2. No need for tube blanks as raw materials, which can save the cost of pipe making equipment and molds, and can obtain carbon steel elbows with any large diameter and relatively thin wall thickness.
3. Due to the above two reasons, the manufacturing cycle can be shortened and the production cost is greatly reduced. It is especially suitable for processing large carbon steel elbows on site because it does not require any special equipment.
4. The blank is flat or expandable surface, so the material is simple to cut, the precision is easy to guarantee, and the assembly and welding are convenient.
Stamping elbow is a good elbow, widely used and popularized in different fields and industries, and has been applied and popularized to varying degrees. The stamping elbow is stamped into a semi-annular elbow by stamping die of the same material as the pipe material, and then the two half-ring elbows are assembled and formed in pairs. The welding of the punching elbow needs to be produced and processed according to a certain process. .
