The foundry industry has always been one of the traditional pillar industries in Hanshan County. Lintou Town is the most concentrated area of â€‹â€‹the foundry industry in Hanshan County. There are 222 foundry enterprises in the town, accounting for more than 85% of the county's foundry enterprises. Since 2002, Lintou Town has invested more than 20 million yuan to build the Lintou Industrial Park with the foundry industry as the main body. At the end of 2005, Lintou Industrial Park became the only provincial industrial park in Hanshan County. The Lintou foundry industry was also listed as one of the 30 industrial clusters supported by the provincial government. Lintou Town firmly grasps the development opportunities of this series, accelerates the construction of the park and accelerates the development of the foundry industry. Qingxi, Huanfeng and other places where the foundry enterprises in Hanshan County are relatively concentrated have also actively improved the layout planning and accelerated the construction of economic development zones and industrial concentration zones. At the same time, according to the long-term development needs of the foundry industry, Hanshan County has vigorously introduced some powerful merchants to expand the foundry industry, especially the introduction of Shanghai merchants to invest 150 million yuan to set up Anhui Haide Machinery Manufacturing Co., Ltd. to build an annual output of 24,000 tons. Export castings and 44,000 tons of machinery manufacturing products production and processing base projects to promote the development of the county's foundry industry.

In the past, the casting products in Hanshan County were relatively single and the added value was low. Due to the simple process, enterprises were prone to vicious competition among each other. Nowadays, the mutual cooperation between enterprises has been formed. The enterprises with the strength of generality are engaged in the production of front-end links such as sand turning, mould making and styling, while some powerful enterprises have embarked on the road of finishing, producing automobile wheels and machinery parts . Sports fitness equipment and other products not only firmly occupy the domestic market, but also exported to the United States, Japan, Western Europe and other developed countries.

At present, there are more than 50 foundry enterprises with an annual output value of over 5 million yuan in Hanshan County. Among them, 6 companies including brilliant casting and Zhongli Casting have an annual output value of more than 50 million yuan. This year, they are sprinting to the billion-dollar mark. According to the development plan of Hanshan County, by 2010, the county's casting production should reach 500,000 tons, the output value will reach 3 billion yuan, and the annual output value will exceed 50 million yuan.
